Betty L. Wallace-Krank, 83, Class of 1950, Miami High School. Betty passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2015.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Krank Sr.; her children, Patricia Bocardo of Globe, Ariz., Jim Ashby of Wheatfields, Ariz., Chuck Ashby of Globe, Ariz., Neil Hadsall of Mesa, Ariz., and Michelle Hadsall-Knipe of Mesa, Ariz.; her step-sons, Floyd L. Krank of Globe, Ariz., Leslie Krank of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mickey Krank of Globe, Ariz.

Betty had a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Betty was a loving person who touched the lives of everyone she met. There were really no strangers to Betty, just people she hadn’t met yet.

She loved to work with her hands and made so many wonderful gifts from beads and macrame, to crochet, knitting and sewing. She did ceramics and even made beautiful jewelry. She made things for everyone she could. She also enjoyed the outdoors, from her snapdragons in her garden, to fishing out at Roosevelt Lake, where she caught a catfish larger than herself. She enjoyed people and took a personal interest to the smallest detail in people’s lives. She was a long time resident of Globe /Miami.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at the American Legion – 645 S. Broad St., Globe, Ariz. at noon.

The family is asking donations be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of the Valley.

Betty was well cared for at the Dobson house in Mesa, Ariz. for the short time she was there.

Betty is loved by all who knew her and will be forever cherished in the hearts and memory of all.
