Sorrow was feelingly shown yesterday by scores of people who attended the funeral of Clayton, the nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hawke, this boy's death taking place from appendicitis after an operation.

Ruffner's chapel was filled by friends of the family and services were conducted by Rev. Bridges of the Baptist church.  Interment was given in the Citizens cemetery.
