| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, January 21, 2016 Thomas Dewitt Hill, of Chino Valley, born in Miami, Arizona, on Nov. 12, 1924, passed away Jan. 16, 2016. Mr. Hill was a proud native Arizonan, a World War II veteran, an Alaska homesteader and an iron worker. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by daughter Elaine Younce, sisters Thalia and Glenna and brother Wendel. He is survived by his wife, LaVeda Hill, sons Preston Thomas Hill, Warren D. Stogner, Doyle Stogner and Del Stogner; daughters Gwen Biosclaire and Susan Hill; sister Vivian Mayo; and brother Clarence Hill. Services will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 22, at Community Church of Christ, Willow Creek Road. Information provided by survivors. See Also: Arizona Birth Certificate |
