| Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Saturday, May 5, 1900, page 3, column 4 The remains of Mrs. Judith H. Holmes, of San Jose, California, was buried in the Citizens cemetery, Prescott, Thursday afternoon, beside her brother, who died here last summer. This according to her last request. She died in San Jose just a few days ago. -------------------- Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, May 9, 1900, page 3, column 4 City and County News - (From Friday's Daily) Mrs. Judith H. Holmes, of San Jose, California, was buried in the Citizens cemetery of Prescott yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Holmes spent last summer in Arizona and her brother died and was buried in Prescott. She requested then that when she died her remains might be laid to rest beside those of her brother. Her death occurred a few days cince (sic) in San Jose, and in accord - had the remains brought here for burial. The latter is engaged in teaching school in Maricopa county. |
