(From Wednesday's Daily)

George Harris, a teamster, was killed yesterday between Prescott and the McCabe mine. He was engaged in freighting to the latter mine with an eight-mule team and his wagon upset, falling on him and crushing out his life.

His remains will be brought to Prescott for burial.

Word came in by telephone from Chaparral yesterday, that Geo. Harris, aged about 45 years has been killed by his wagon turning (unreadable) on him twice and crushing him to death. The accident occurred on half mile the other side of (unreadable), a sharp curve on a down grade.

Harris was driving eight mules hitched to a wagon loaded with a ton of barley and two tons of merchandise for the McCabe mine.

Sheriff Ruffner sent out a team to bring the remains to Prescott.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Harris is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
