| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 19, 1957, page 1, column 8 Daniel H. Bork, Mechanic Dies Daniel H. Bork, 46, a student of fine and unusual cars, died here last night at a local hospital. He was born in Prescott, and lived at 1525 Willow Creek Rd. Cars were brought to the mechanic from all over the state for repair due to the pride he took in the quality of workmanship he turned out. He was a World War Ii veteran and was very active in Smoki and the Masonic lodge. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ruffner chapel with Dr. Charles Franklin Parker conducting them. Graveside services will be by the Masonic lodge in the family plot in Mountain View cemetery. Friends may call at Ruffners from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Survivors are three brothers, A W. Bork, who works with General Electric in Mexico City, John Bork, who works at the Bank of America at Flagstaff and Henry W. Bork, at Ft. Eustis, Va. with the U.S. Army; two sisters, Mrs. H. C. Freeman, Whittier, Calif., and Miss Elizabeth Bork, librarian at UCLA, Santa Monica, Calif. See Also: Arizona Gravestone Photo Project |
