The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/02/2016 Shayne Calvin Mathews The angels took Shayne to be with our heavenly father Jan. 17, 2016 in LaLoma, N.M. She was born Dec. 15, 1973. He attended Blue Ridge School from kindergarten through high school and graduated in 1992, with high grades and a scholarship. He will be remembered with love for his great sense of humor, kindness, gentleness, generosity, talent and the ability to light up a room with his smile. Shayne is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Pyhel; stepsister Susie Mathews; stepbrother Richard Mathews; several aunts, uncles and cousins who love him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mathews. An open house to celebrate Shayne’s life and share fond memories is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6, from 1-4 p.m. at 7444 Buck Springs Road in Pinetop.
