Virgil Gordon Dysterheft
June 28, 1936 - January 30, 2016

Virgil Gordon Dysterheft, of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on January 30, 2016 at his home in Lakeside. He was 79. Gordon was an only child born to his parents the late, Dr. Arnold and Mildred (Gilliland) Dysterheft on June 28, 1936 in Geronimo, Graham County, Arizona.

He was a veteran of the United States Army before being honorably discharged. He attended the Northern Arizona University and the Arizona State University having graduated with a Business and Accounting degree.

He is survived by his loving wife Georgia, whom he met while attending college in Phoenix while she was a student nurse. Also surviving him are his children, Georgiana of Phoenix, Arizona and Ray of Vista, California; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Lakeside Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with full military honors.
