Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, December 05, 2015 Kay Amis was born May 16, 1944, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Richard and Kathleen Amis. She and her two sisters, and four brothers received her education in the local area. Those grateful for having shared Kay's life include: her three children, Charles Hill II, Cheryl Hill, and Janet Hill; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren (and one on the way); sister, Carol Vreeland; brothers, Larry Amis, James Amis, and Richard Amis; many other relatives; and numerous friends. Kay is preceded in death by: daughter, Charlene Hill; her first and second husbands, Charles Hill and John Goodon; her parents, Richard and Kathleen Amis; her step-mother, Margaret Amis; sister, Rose Amis; and brother, Clyde Bassham.
