| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, November 17, 2015 Leonor Alvarez, 94 of Cottonwood, passed away on November 13, 2015. She was born on March 22, 1921 in Jerome, Arizona to Hilario and Lasara Gutierrez. Leonor attended school in Jerome. Leonor was preceded in death by husband Domingo Alvarez; sisters Mary Frias and Amelia Valdez; brother Geronimo Guitierrez; daughter Lucy Allen and grandson Rusty Estrada. She is survived by sons David Alvarez of Vista, CA and Henry (Rose) Alvarez of Mesa, AZ; daughters Sophia Ballesteros (Jesus), Beatrice Estrada (Fermin), Annie Cota (Armando) and Vicky Molina (Larry), all of Cottonwood; 23 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Services for Leonor will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00am at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
