Barbara "Barbie" Karber, 59 of Cottonwood, passed away on December 21, 2015 in Phoenix.

She was born on March 22, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa to John and Velma Steines.

Barbie worked as a bus driver for Mingus Union High School.

Barbie was preceded in death by her parents John and Velma. She is survived by husband of 32 ½ years Clarence Karber of Cottonwood; daughters Missy Karber of Cottonwood and Elizabeth Karber of Evansville, IN; brothers Ken Steines (Tammy) of Iowa and Tom Steines (Sheryl) of Illinois and sisters Joyce Hughson (Rodger) of Illinois, Mary Simpson of Indiana and Carla Nienaber (John) of Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:30am at Verde Baptist Church, 102 S. Willard Street in Cottonwood.
