Norma Dell Chapman

Norma Dell Chapman passed away quickly from a sudden abdominal infection on 12-20-15, with family at her side.

She was born in Sayre, OK on 11-18-30 and lived in OK, TX & CA during her early years.

She met the love of her life, Jack O'Brien Chapman, at a dance in 1947 and they danced through 61 years of marriage.

He was career Navy and they traveled extensively before settling in Phoenix in 1960.

They later lived in Cottonwood for over 25 years until Jack passed away in 2009, then Norma moved to Mesa.

Norma's life was her family, but loved gardening, sewing and did work outside the home as a secretary, nail technician and seamstress.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Dennis, grandson Sean, parents and two brothers.

She is survived by daughter Denise Dyer-Polisano (Dennis), granddaughters Shannon Piano and Kelly Chapman, 2 great grandkids, 2 step granddaughters: Nicole Genegabus and Andrea Trimberger (Ryan), 3 step grandkids, 2 sisters and a brother.

Memorial service on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E Broadway, Mesa, AZ.
