Mildred (Williamson) Messimer

Mildred Messimer, 87 of Cottonwood, passed away on November 13, 2015. She was born on September 7, 1928 in Gotebo, Oklahoma to Carl and Ophelia Williamson.

Mildred went to school in Williams, AZ and college at Life Bible College in CA from 1950-1954.

Mildred attended Williams Foursquare Church while living in Williams and was recently a member of Cottonwood Christian Assembly.
Mildred was a very loving daughter and sister and loved by those who knew her.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ophelia; husband E. Blake Messimer and brother Harold Williamson. She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Tipton (James) of Cottonwood and Sharon Turpin of Cottonwood.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday night, November 18, 2015 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10:00am at Cottonwood Christian Assembly Church with burial taking place in Williams Cemetery.
