| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, January 19, 2016 Leo Walter Czarnecki, 92, of Camp Verde, formerly of Scottsdale, passed away December 30, 2015 at the home of his daughter in Camp Verde. He was born in Buffalo, New York, the son of Kasmier Czarnecki and Sofie Winiarz. He received his bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Buffalo. He spent his career at both Fairchild Semi Conductor and Motorola (now Freescale). Mr. Czarnecki served his country in the Army. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church of Scottsdale. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at Special Olympics activities with his son. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Czarnecki, sister Lucy Krzesinski and brother Ray Czarnecki. Mr. Czarnecki is survived by a son Dale Joseph Czarnecki of Camp Verde, daughters Donna Metzler (Kris) of Camp Verde, Linda Nehse (Paul) of Livermore, California; a brother Harry Czarnecki (Virginia) of New York; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26 at 10 AM at St Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Scottsdale.
