Arrangements by Heritage Memory Mortuary. ------------------------ Barbara Ruth Dufresne Johnson, born Dec. 23, 1917, died Jan. 23, 2016. She is survived by her youngest son, Daniel Johansson of Camas, Washington Barbara had a career as a registered nurse. She ran a nursing home with her husband, Helge Johnson, Walnut Grove Nursing Home in Hampden, Massachusetts for 13 years. She had three sons. She went to Alaska with her family in 1962. She lived in Anchorage, working for the Alaska Native Service Hospital and traveling out to remote villages as an educator. Barbara was loved by her friends and family. She will be missed. She was a long-time resident of Prescott, Arizona. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016, at American Lutheran Church in Prescott.
