Anne M. Knight, 81 passed away June 27, 2006 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born to Lawrence and Florence Moore in Washington, DC on October 20, 1924. Anne was a hotel owner for many years and a valued member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a gracious hostess, and a loving friend to all who knew her. Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, E. Harris Knight. She is survived by her son David MacGregor Knight (Melody) of O'Fallon, IL; daughter Robin Knight Karr (David) of Edgewood, MD; cousins Marie Geoghegan and Betty McFall; grandchildren M. Scott Karr, Alexis Bryant, Kelly Peris, Daniel, John and Christopher Knight; and great grandchildren Christian and Connor Peris, T.J., Jessica and Victoria Bryant, Samantha, Madison and Eric Harris Karr. A visitation will be held Friday, June 30 from 5-7 PM at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, July 1 at 1:30 PM at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 6261 N. Granite Reef Rd., Scottsdale.
