Gladys Maude Kincaid, age 92, died on Jan. 27, 2016. She was born to Richard Price and Emily (Phillips) Lloyd, on Feb. 6, 1923 in Oyama, British Columbia, Canada.

At 6 months old, she came to the United States with the family, and has remained there since. In 1948, she went to school and became a naturalized citizen of the United States. She schooled in California and Washington states, and graduated from Canoga Park High School, California, in the winter of 1942.

She married Hubert Lee Kincaid on Jan. 30, 1943. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1988. They had been married 45 years, 10 months at the time of his tragic death. Maude worked at many things through her lifetime. There were two children born unto this marriage - Brenda Joyce and Byron Lee.

Maude is survived by her son Byron and his wife Mary Chris Kincaid; five grandchildren, Kimberly Kearns, Kevin Schenewerk, Christine Becerra, Matthew Kincaid and Mark Kincaid; and eight great-grandchildren, Westly, Jeremy, Karlee, Jasmine, Mary, Miranda, Maia and Hannah; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Maude wishes that you grieve and mourn a little, but not too long. "I've had a good life and made many friends. And I wish my family to carry on with much happiness and success. Make all of your lives worthwhile. And now I've earned and deserve - my Rest in Peace." Maude

Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
