| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, February 9, 2016 Billie Dawn Nichols, 80 of Sedona (VOC), passed away on February 5, 2016 at home. She was born on August 26, 1935 in Jerome, AZ to Joseph Starnick and Timothy Louise Wignall. Billie attended West High School for 12 years then attended college in Optical. She worked for Carr Bros Electric in Phoenix, Dr. Leenhoutz Optical in Sedona and as a bookkeeper in Canyon Mesa C.C. in VOC. Billie enjoyed crochet, baseball and golf. Billie was preceded in death by her husband Louis Nichols and son James Brian Alvey. She is survived by sons Dennis Alvey (Kelly) of Cornville and John W. Alvey of Cornville; daughters Patricia Utz (Tony) of Flagstaff and Sharon Finster (Paul) of Flagstaff and 3 grandchildren: John and William Hellenburg and Brian Utz. A memorial service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00am. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com.
