Arleen Suzanne Breshears

Arleen Suzanne Breshears, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on February 4, 2016 at her home in Show Low. She was 52. Arleen was born to her parents, Norman and Marilyn D. (Kemp) Cowan on March 4, 1963 in Ventura, Ventura County, California.

Arleen loved animals of all kinds. She volunteered as a Veterinary Tech for Alta Sierra for many years and most recently for Pet Allies. She found her comfort in being around animals. She loved children and the peacefulness she felt while surrounded by them.

She enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing and music. A loving wife, mother, daughter and friend, Arleen will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Breshears; son, Miles McGuire (Ashlie); mother, Marilyn Riggert; father, Norman Cowan (Carolyn); brother, Bergan Cowan (Shelly); nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jason, Serenity and Jesse Cowan, Charizma Davis, Derek Winn and Cody Schaede; mother-in-law, Mary Breshears; ex-husband, Michael McGuire and dear friends, Shelly Ward, Christina and Frederick Baca.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Pet Allies in Arleen’s name.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
