| Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona RUEBEN SHAWN POLK (Died January 27, 2016) Rueben Shawn Polk, age 34, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his residence in Phoenix, AZ. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 26, 1982 the son of Robinson and Brenda (Guy) Polk, Jr. Rueben attended Rice School, Simpson Elementary and Alhambra High School. He worked at a call center and sold Mortgage Loans. He enjoyed drawing, reading, calligraphy and record music. He would travel back and forth to San Carlos regularly to spend time with family and friends. Rueben is survived by his wife Jennifer T. Polk, his children; Pearl Williams and Malayia Polk, his parents Robinson and Brenda Polk, Jr., his siblings; Patricia Orantes, Breanna Orantes, Angel Orantes, Yvonne Orantes and Evelyn Phillips. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church – 3040 N. 7th St. – Phoenix, AZ. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in San Carlos, AZ Funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
