| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 17, 2016, page 5a Daniel Scott Kells, 53, of Chandler, Arizona passed away on Feb. 10, 2016. Dan was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and spent most of his childhood in Prescott, Arizona. He retired from the Tempe Police Department in 2013 after proudly serving for 28 years. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for nearly seven years and inspired all who met him with his courage and strength. Dan is survived and loved by his wife, Vicky; two sons, Michael (Brittany) and Jason (Courtney); father Bill (Sharon); mother Nancy (Ray); brothers Bill (Susan) and Steve (Kim); two grandchildren, Charleigh and Cason; and many other loving relatives. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at CrossRoads Nazarene, 2950 West Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to the 100 Club of Arizona, 5033 N. 19th Avenue #123, Phoenix, AZ 85015 (100club.org) Information provided by survivors. |
