ETHELBAH, Normalyn

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Normalyn Ethelbah, born February 16, 1984 to Anthony Ethelbah Sr. and Letha Cosay, passed away February 3, 2016. Normalyn graduated from Alchesay High School in 2002. After high school she attended the American Indian Bible College in Albuquerque, NM. Her interest was in the field of criminal justice, which obtained her a job in the Tribal Prosecution Department. Normalyn played basketball in school and in the league. Her favorite player was Michael Jordon and her favorite country music singer was Kenny Chesney. She is survived by her children: Derrick, Tristan and Ariat; her mother; two brothers, Anthony Ethelbah Jr. and Franklin Ethelbah; her sister, Naylee Tessay; and her Godparents, Leo and Carla Nachu. She was preceded in death by her father; her daughter Raynell Thompson and a granddaughter, Lucia Nosie. A wake will be held in her honor from Thursday the 11thto Saturday the 13th with a funeral on Saturday at the Canyon Day Miracle Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Silver Creek Mortuary handled arrangements.
