| Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, November 4, 1896, page 3, column 1 Death has again invaded the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Thompson, who reside south of town. This couple had the misfortune a year ago to loose two of their children with diphtheria. This time it is their seven year old son whose loss they are called upon to mourn. A short time since the little boy was given a new pair of boots, and in wearing them one of them chafed his heel. Blood poison set in, resulting in his death. The funeral took place this afternoon from Logan's undertaking parlors. Transcriber's note: No place of burial has been found for this child. |
