Services for Jack B. McDonald, 57, a native of Tempe who died Sunday in St. Luke's Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Chandler First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1160 W. Del Rio St.

Mr. McDonald, 23 S. 124th Street, Chandler, attended Tempe schools and received a master's degree in industrial arts at Arizona State University in 1956. He taught 22 years in Bisbee High School until taking a disability retirement in 1976.

A World War II Air Corps veteran, he was a member of the Bisbee American Legion Post and Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn D.; daughters, Jean Thorne and Deborah L.; mother, Bessie L. McDonald; a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Carr Mortuary, 26 E. Fifth St., Tempe.
