Arthur C. “Clint” Queen Jr. Clint Queen, 89, of Prescott, Arizona, surrounded by family, passed away Feb. 17, 2016. Clint was born in Texas City, Texas, to Arthur and Estelle Queen. Clint was a three-war veteran, proudly serving two years in the Navy during WWII followed by 22 years as a fighter pilot in the Air Force with tours in Korea and Vietnam. Clint was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather who possessed a great sense of humor. Clint was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed playing the steel guitar and was a published author (Phantoms in the Valley). Clint is survived by his wife, Jeanette; two stepchildren, Bill (Laura) Dunning and Susan (David) Dill; and four grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew, Reed and Tayla. Clint was preceded in death by his son, Cody, and sister Lois. In lieu of flowers, Clint requested donations to your favorite charity in his name. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. 303 S. Cortez St. in Prescott. Burial will be in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, at 1 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 24, 2016. Information provided by survivors. |
