STREET, SR., Christopher Richard (Chris)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/19/2016 Christopher Richard Street Sr., 46, died Feb. 9, 2016, of a heart attack in Show Low. He was born May 14, 1969, in Colorado Springs, Colo. Chris met and later married his high school sweetheart, Lori Taylor, on Feb. 14, 1990. They had four children together and 29 years of love. He was a great father, grandfather, brother and son. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved to camp and hike. He also had a passion for studying law and helping others. Chris was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. His family will miss him very dearly. He is survived by his wife, Lori Street; children Heather Taylor, Christopher Street Jr., Nicolas (Natalie Bassham) Street, Alesha (Justin Cook) Street, Kurt Wallowing Bull (Heather Raburn), mother Judy Swain; stepfather Morris Swain; brothers Magratthew Street and Daniel Street; grandchildren Emilia, Aryeonna, Aubree, Lylia, Ryland, Antonette and soon-to-be-born Shawn. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard Street, father-in-law Donald Stearns Taylor, brother Jason Street, son Shawn Stevens and both paternal and maternal grandparents. A memorial was held Monday, Feb. 15, in Concho.
