Clovis Lee Taylor, 74, died peacefully Feb. 16, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family in Show Low, due to natural causes.

He was born March 15, 1941, in Eleanor, W. Va. to Alonzo and Elizabeth Taylor.

After graduating from Poca High School in 1959, Clovis served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years.

He eventually moved to the West Coast and faithfully provided for his family until the day that he passed.

Clovis was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Clovis is survived by his lovely wife of 35 years, Beau Bell Taylor, a brother, five children and their spouses, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his extended family, his church family and countless neighbors, friends and co-workers that were touched by his beautiful presence.

Clovis never met a person that he could not turn into an instant friend and will be missed by all.

A celebration of Clovis Lee Taylor’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Linden Hills Family Fellowship in Linden (five miles west of Show Low off Highway 260, past Linden Elementary on Highway 260) in Show Low.

A reception will follow the celebration nearby. Both will be open to all who want to attend.
