| Arizona Republic (Phoenix AZ) Monday, November 9, 1970, p 33 Tempe--Services for Ralph F. Bassett, 74, who retired as equipment manager at the Arizona State University swimming pool last summer, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Carr Mortuary, 26 E. Fifth St. Burial will be in Double Butte Cemetery. Mr. Bassett, of 420 Maple Ave., died Saturday in Doctors Hospital. He was born in Topeka, Kan., and lived at Gilbert and Kyrene from 1916 to 1920, when he moved to Tempe. He was an agent with Railway Express Co. and manager of the Greyhound Bus Co. terminal here before going to work for ASU 13 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; a son, William of Glendora, Calif.; a brother out of state and three grandchildren. See Also: Find A Grave |
