| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, March 6, 2016, page 7a Robert L. Kantak April 25, 1924 - March 2, 2016 Robert L. Kantak, 91, was born April 25, 1924 in Syracuse, New York. He left us on March 2, 2016 at his residence in Prescott, Arizona. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a retired firefighter in Detroit, Michigan. He was known for his feisty behavior, his well-dressed manner and his keen sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his wife Emma of 68 years; his daughter Jackie Ange; and son Bobby. He is survived by his wife Maria Oquendo with whom he was said to say, “I will leave a happy man because of Maria”; his daughters Carol (Larry) Rust, Roberta Dalton; son Timothy; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. There are no services scheduled at this time. Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors. |
