Lawrence Raymond Moyer, 62, passed away Feb. 14, 2016 in Brawley,
Calif.

Lawrence was born Jan. 30, 1954 to Phyllis and George Moyer. He
graduated from Coachella Valley High School and is a veteran of the
U.S. Army.

Larry, who was retired and disabled, resided with his elderly mother
in Lake Havasu City and cared for her. He loved playing card games
and doing all sorts of word and number puzzles. Larry loved spending
time with family. The family said, “He has joined our father Marty
and is looking out for all of us from above.”

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Martinez of Lake Havasu City;
sisters Linda Toy (Keith) of Lake Havasu City, Marjorie Moyer (Chuck
Lockhart) of Troy, Mo.; nephews Bryan Toy of Tucson, Cory (Miriam)
Carrillo of Santa Monica, Calif., Aubrey Carrillo of Indio, Calif.
and Randy Baker, Daniel Baker and Michael Baker, all of Troy, Mo.;
great-nieces and nephew Samantha Carrillo, Delilah Carrillo, Desirae
Carrillo, all of Indio, Calif., Lily Carrillo of Santa Monica,
Calif., Jacob Carrillo of Indio, Calif. and Michelle Carrillo of
Tucson.

He is also survived by his girlfriend, Christine Tucker, of
California.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Moyer, and stepfather
Marty Martinez.

A service for Larry is March 19, 1 p.m., at the VFW in Havasu with
Anna Martinez officiating. His body is to be cremated.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Larry’s memory to
the Western Arizona Humane Society or Wounded Warriors.
