MAYTON, Steven Richard

Steven Richard Mayton, 66, passed away March 4, 2016 in Lake Havasu 
City.

He was born July 25, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Walter Lester 
and Barbara Jean (Thompson) Mayton.

Steven served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1970-1973 
and was honorably discharged. He was a lifetime member of the VA. 
Steven will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his children, Elizabeth Jean (Tim) Ross and 
John Arthur Mayton; granddaughter Janna Elizabeth Mayton; brother, 
Wallace Marler; sister, Kathy Marler and cousin, Johnson (Butch).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and a brother, 
Edward Howard Mayton.

The family would like contributions in Steven’s name to go to the 
Homeless Veterans’ Association.

Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary and 
Crematory, veteran and family owned.
