| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on March 11, 2016 - Theresa Marie Mongeon, 67, passed away March 5, 2016 in Lake Havasu City. She was born July 18, 1948 in Burlington, Vt. to Leo and Norma (Dunn) Mongeon. Theresa was a long-time resident of Lake Havasu City, coming here 40 years ago from Detroit, Mich., where she lived for 20 years. She worked at the McCulloch Corporation for 13 years as well as the city’s regional hospital as a housekeeper for 10 years. Theresa was a friend to all who knew her and had a big heart and her home was always open. She loved going to the movies, but the most important part of her life was family. She will be deeply missed and always loved. Theresa is survived by her daughter Leann Getto of Lake Havasu City; brothers Austin and Tom Mongeon of Lake Havasu City; sister, Mary (Dunn) Karl Erlandson of Phoenix; nieces and nephews Jennifer, Kristine, Brittany and Aron Erlandson of Phoenix; and Lea Mongeon and Michelle (Witzel) Mongeon of Bullhead City; great great-nieces and nephews Malach, Mukalua, Trenton and Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers David, Norman and Bobby Mongeon, and her best friend, Janine Lowery. A celebration of Theresa’s life was March 10. Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory, veteran and family owned. |
