Josephine (Dolly) Ann (Cosmano) Hendley, 84, passed away Saturday,
Feb. 27, 2016 after losing her fight with leukemia.

Dolly was born in Rochester, N.Y., March 26, 1931, the daughter of
Domenic and Mary Cosmano.

In the early 1970s, she made her home in Lake Havasu City where her
younger brother was living with his family. She was later joined by
her mother and younger sister and still later by her daughter and
son-in-law. The quality in family times spent then were and still
are treasured.

Dolly was always active in crafts. She loved to do needlepoint and
knitting. For a while she had her own knitting shop, “Dolly’s Knit
Shop” in Havasu where she gave lessons. She was also an avid
painter. The many hours she gave to her craft were truly from the
heart as all of it was created with love and given as gifts to loved
ones on special occasions.

When not busy with needlepoint, Dolly was trying out new recipes on
the family to their great pleasure. Her chili deserves the all-time
blue ribbon. She even put together a cookbook of her favorite
recipes.

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Robert) Follet; son,
Raymond LaDue of Rock Springs, Wyo.; sister Francis Dimino and
fiancé Frank Cosmano; brother, James (Gert) Cosmano; five
grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews
and cousins.
