Ronald Magnus, 65, of Lake Havasu City passed away Feb. 25, 2016
surrounded by his wife and close friends.

Ronald Lee Magnus was born in Burlington, Colo. on Dec. 29, 1950 to
Leslie and June (Drager) Magnus. After high school he attended
college and then went into the construction business. Ron became a
general contractor and built beautiful custom homes, excelling in
his industry.

Ron married Anne McFarlene in November 1976 in Steamboat Springs,
Colo. They made their home there until retiring to Lake Havasu City
in 2009. Ron chose Havasu because of its classic car culture. He was
a Corvette lover and had several classic cars of his own.

Ron also enjoyed boating on the lake. His friends and family
remember him for enjoying life, and his love for family, especially
his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful man that enjoyed
good times with friends. He will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Anne, of Lake Havasu City; sons Shea of
Steamboat Springs, Colo. and Jamie of Grants Pass, Ore.; daughters
Ashlee (Mike) Niethammer of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Caitlin (Chad)
Patterson of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Jody (Patty) of Bangladesh;
a sister Vicki (Barry) Noreen of Denver, Colo.; and five
grandchildren.
