| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/04/2016 Virginia Louise Rohlf, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low of heart failure. She was born Dec. 14, 1937, in Tulsa, Okla., to Charles C. and Louise V. (Anderson) Thomas, who preceded her in death. Virginia was employed as a customs broker in Sweetgrass, Mont. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church, which she was very active in. Virginia maintained a strong faith throughout her life. When she saw a person in need of any kind, she was quick to assist and comfort them. Virginia enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, canning and sightseeing throughout the United States. Virginia is survived by her spouse, Charles E. Rohlf of Snowflake (whom she married on March 15, 1958); children Earlla (Tony) Nelson of Kevin, Mont., Charles (Jackie) Rohlf of Shelby, Mont., Martha Hobby of Pahrump, Nev., Trent Rohlf of Kevin, Mont., and Jesse Rohlf of Ferdig, Mont.; sister Hester (Bernie) Lum of Hawaii; and 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Marillen Walls, son Jean Rohlf and sister Debra Wannschoff. A thank you is extended to all those that were involved in her life. A rosary will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, also at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church. Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel of Snowflake handled arrangements.
