Camp Verde Bugle, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, March 17, 2016 Katherine Hill Solberg 1946 - 2016 Katherine L. Hill Solberg, 69, passed away on March 3, 2016 in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was born in Canada, the daughter of Rev. K. K. and Dorothy E. Hill. Kathy was retired from a career of over 40 years with Scandinavian Airlines. Her interests included needlepoint, cooking and traveling. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. K. K. Hill and her spouse, Martin G. Solberg. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Hill of Cottonwood; her siblings in Arizona: Patsy Knaeble (Gerry), Bonnie Hill, Mary Vocca (Frank), Peter Hill and Nancy Bright (Barry); her step-daughters in Minnesota: Carla Gillespie (Scott), Anne Marie Solberg (Aric Regal), Kristine Solberg (Thomas Kraft) and her beloved dog Bibbi. A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue/Humane Society of your choice or Hilltop Christian Preschool at Faith Lutheran Church.
