| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 17, 2016, p. 6a Melinda Marie Gustafson January 20, 1953 - March 13, 2016 Melinda Marie Gustafson, age 63, of Cordes Lakes, Arizona, passed away in her home March 13, 2016. On Jan. 20, 1953, Melinda was born to Dwayne and Elnora Holt of Eagle Bend, Minnesota. Melinda graduated from Long Prairie High School, Minnesota and Wadena Technical College, Minnesota for Cosmetology with a 34-year career as a beautician. Melinda and George lovingly married for 46 years, were united on June 1, 1970. They moved to Arizona in 1997 living in Tucson, Glendale before settling into the home she designed in Cordes Lakes. She enjoyed family, all outdoor activities, gardening, antiquing, garage sales and crafts. Melinda is proceeded in death by her parents, Dwayne and Elnora Holt. Melinda is survived by her husband, George “Gus” Gustafson; her sons Duane (Joan) of Ogden, Utah and Chad (Becky) of Kasson, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings, Keith (Martha) Holt of Eagle Bend, Minnesota, Eldora Dreher of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Rayline Boyer of Long Prairie, Minnesota and Kevin (Amy) Holt of Waverly, Iowa. A celebration of Melinda’s life and faith in the Lord Jesus will take place at 11 a.m. on March 19, 2016, at Mountain of Faith Lutheran Church, Cordes Lakes, Arizona. A service will be in Clotho, Minnesota at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary. Information provided by survivors. |
