| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, March 31, 2016, page 8a Isla R. Stapleton May 19, 1933 - March 23, 2016 Isla R. Stapleton, 83, a longtime resident of the Prescott Valley area, died Wednesday morning, March 23, 2016. Isla was creative, artistic and talented in woodworking, painting, dog grooming and leathercraft and had a tremendous love for all living creatures. Born in Waterford, Wisconsin she moved to Arizona in 2000. She is survived by her brother, Ron Smith; her daughter, Patricia Tapp; her sons, Darell and Brian Tapp; her grandchildren, Matthew Tapp and Tish Adams. Her attitude is expressed best by Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” To Isla’s family and friends, those who would like to share a story or a prayer, email tapptapp@cox.net. A completed memorial collage will be shared with all in lieu of a service. That’s how Isla would have wanted to be remembered. For those who wish to send anything, in lieu of flowers, send donations in Isla’s name to Yavapai Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301. Information provided by survivors. |
