David Paul Branch age 72 of Wickenburg, Arizona peacefully went to be with our Lord April 1st, 2016 surrounded by family and friends after a battle with cancer.

David was born to Don and Ruth Branch on August 28th, 1943. He spent his early years with his family in Tekonsha, Michigan. The family moved to Ackerson Lake and David graduated from Napoleon High School in 1961. David loved his country and proudly served in the United States Army in the 1960′s. He worked for many years at Clark Equipment.

In 1981 he met his best friend and the love of his life Janet (Vandeventer) Branch. In their 34 great years together they owned and ran a donut shop in Grass Lake, Michigan, exchanged many playful banters and lots of love. In the last twenty years he was able to slow down a little and share his wisdom with his family.

Dave and Janet shared a love of the outdoors and they shared many great adventures and many great friends jeeping. David studied the trails and loved to lead the way.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents, father and father-in- law.

He is survived by his loving wife Janet, son David and his wife Jennifer of Wickenburg, his mother Ruth, his mother- in-law Carol, grandson Austin Branch and sister Judy (Rich) Willis, brother-in-law Dan (Melody)Vandeventer all of Michigan, sister Carol (Doug) Montgomery from New Jersey.

David loved hearing the kids yell Uncle Dave and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his special Wickenburg family Jeff and Stacy Gray and kids Lauren (Richie), Allison and Zackary, Bob and Betty Jo Matiska and Nicole Denney as well his countless jeeping buddies he considered family.

The family would like to invite you to David’s celebration of lifes/last ride. We will meet in the Alco parking lot for David to lead one last time at 10:30 AM on Saturday April 9th.

Services at Sunset Point off scenic loop at 11 AM. Please dress in jeeping attire, please bring you own chair, small luncheon provided.

Please no flowers, Janet is highly allergic. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley.

A second service will be held in Tekonsha, Michigan in July.
