| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, April 9, 2016, page 8a Carole "Sue" Meador Lipphardt Sue passed away peacefully, at home, Saturday, March 19, 2016, in Prescott, Arizona. Sue was born in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico on May 14, 1946 to parents Rex and Elizabeth "Betty" Meador McDowell. She is survived by her husband Ed; mother Betty McDowell; stepbrother Jay; niece and nephew Holly and Lamar. Also, grandniece and nephew Hanna and Patrick; and special friend Sharon. Sue graduated from Springer High School in 1964. She married Ed in 1982. After closing their sign business in Phoenix, they moved to Prescott in 1989 and started Prescott Sign Works. Sue will be greatly missed, by all who knew her. She was a popular patron to the many eateries around town, who will remember her for wanting her "Special" Margarita. And of course be missed by her dear friends, who she affectionately referred to as her "Sisters." Sue requested that there not to be a service for her. She wanted everyone to remember her as she was the last time they saw her. Her ashes will eventually be interred with her husband, Ed. She requested that donations be made, in her name, to the Yavapai Humane Society. Information provided by survivors. |
