Marshall Charles Grindell, 48, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at his residence in Concho. He was born Nov. 3, 1967, in Santa Fe, N.M., the son of David Charles Grindell and Marjorie Belle Hester.

Marshall was an artist for 31 years. He was an oil painter and later in his life turned to graphic art with computers. He was the type of person who was always quick with a smile and a helping hand.

He is survived by his parents, David C. Grindell and Marjorie H. Simpson, and brother David S. Grindell.
