| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/08/2016 Warwin Kessay entered into eternal rest April 2, 2016. He was born Dec. 9, 1997, to Merceleen Bond and Wilfred Kessay. Warwin was a senior about to graduate from the Alchesay High School and was looking forward to attending the prom. He enjoyed rapping, listening to music, drawing, movies and visiting with friends. He was kind-hearted and respectful and known for his smiles and his jokes. He was close to his nieces and nephews. He loved his mom and her cooking. He loved his two pit bulls, Bozo and Candy. He attended the Riverside Pentecostal Church. His love for the Scriptures was reflected in his helpfulness to others. He is survived by his parents, Merceleen Bond and Wilfred Kessay; sisters Marcella (Benjamin) Moody, Merdina (Robert) Duran, Marquel Bond, Claranda (Ramon) Najera, Telala Kessay, Heavenly (Marcus) Francis and Mia Martinez; brothers Johnny Caddo and Darren Thompson; five nieces and five nephews; and many aunts, uncles and extended families. A two-day wake will be held starting at 1 p.m. April 9-10, at One Step Beyond; House 108. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the Alchesay Activity Center with Pastor Valentina Begay of Riverside Church officiating. The family would like to request that the Class of 2016 and Warwin’s friends escort his body back to his residence. “We’re never really ready when it’s time to say good-bye, But slowly we accept what has to be, letting go of what we must, But keeping those we love, forever close to us in memory.” Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements. |
