Rudy Velasquez, 84, of Show Low died March 12, 2016, in Surprise.

Rudy was a Korean War veteran.

Rudy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carmen; five children, Suzanne (Paul), Jeanette (Matt), Madelene, Gabriel and Pamela (Dustin); 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Gloria, Nellie and Dora.

Services will be held Saturday, April 9, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Show Low. The rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. and funeral Mass at 11 a.m.

The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Hospice of the Valley for their tender care.
