The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, April 10, 2016, page 7a Diana Winn Butitta passed away, too soon, April 4, 2016. Born April 18, 1955 and raised in Phoenix, Diana graduated from the University of Arizona, moving to Prescott in the early eighties. She spent most of her career in accounting and had been retired for several years. Upon moving to Prescott, Diana married her “Buddy,” Matthew Butitta in 1985 and they have been soul mates ever since. They shared a wonderful life in Prescott, and traveled seemingly constantly, with several vacations to their favorite Hawaii, visits to Matt’s family in Illinois, and numerous trips to Europe. Diana was predeceased by her parents, Wayne F. and Barbara Winn, who she adored. She will be terribly missed by her husband Matthew; her brother Wayne F. Winn Jr.; sister-in-law Cheryl Winn; and dozens of other friends and Matt’s family members who, as much as they loved her, she loved even more. She loved animals and would have appreciated donations made to the Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott. Family also suggests donations made to Yavapai County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 95, Prescott, AZ 86302. A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at a later date.
