Pioneer Resident Is Called By Death

(From Tuesday's Daily)

John O'Malley, a pioneer resident succumbed to general debility in the Mercy Hospital yesterday afternoon. He was 81 years old and a native of Ireland. No relatives survive him in this territory.

His remains were taken in charge by the Ruffner undertaking establishment to be prepared for burial. The funeral will be held this afternoon from the chapel of the undertaking parlors. Interment will be in the Citizens cemetery.

Mr. O'Malley had been a resident of this territory for many years and was well and favorably known in pioneer circles.

Since retiring from mining pursuits several years ago he has made his home in the Mercy Hospital. He was stricken ill a few weeks ago and gradually sank until the end.
