| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, August 18, 2000, page 5a Hugh Crowe Hugh Wayland Crowe, 75, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott. He was born Aug. 23, 1924, in Oxford, Miss., to Lewis and Mary (Waller) Crowe. Mr. Crowe was a retired United States Air Force Major. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Retired Officers Association. He enjoyed walks with his dog, electronics and reading. Survivors are his wife Jean (Betty); daughters, Cynthia Crowe of Garden Grove, Calif, and Jennifer Morse of Prescott; sons, Maj. David A. Crowe, of Columbus, Ga., and Master Sgt. Donald S. Crowe of Avondale; brothers, Gayle and Dwight of Oxford, Miss.; sister, Sue Wells of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at The First Baptist Church, Goodwin and Marina streets. A committal service with honors will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. The family suggest contributions to Alzheimer's Association of Northern Arizona, 225 Grove Ave., suite B, Prescott, AZ, 86301 or First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box, 226, Prescott, AZ, 86302. Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements. |
