James H. Heath, 91, of Mayer, Arizona, passed away April 15, 2016, in Prescott.

Jim passed away on April 15, 2016 at the Prescott VA. He was born Dec. 16, 1925 in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife Mary; sons, Jeff, mike and Greg; grandson Justin; and daughter-in-law Esther. His sister Shirley Wright of Bridgeport, Illinois, also survives him. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Glenna; his parents, Harley Heath and Sarah Seed Heath; brothers Harley, George and Roscoe; sisters Imogene, Esther and Lois.

Jim served in the Navy during World War II and was stationed in the Pacific. Following his Navy time, he joined the Merchant Marines. Prior to retiring, he worked in the Phoenix Union High School District DSO as a painter and glazer. He moved to Cordes Lakes in 1986, where he enjoyed woodworking, traveling, camping, fishing and hunting.

At Jim’s request, there were no services.
