| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 20, 2016 After a short illness, Jane Tondettar passed away peacefully in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on April 14, 2016, at the age of 91. Jane was born on June 29, 1924, in White Plains, New York, the daughter of Brainard Hardy Woodward and Fannie Wright. Her ancestors included early 1600s English colonists and she was a descendant of many Revolutionary War soldiers. An accomplished poet and veracious reader, Jane was always cheerful with a positive outlook, loved her family, and was a devoted “mom” to her cats Abbie, Mugsie and Teeny, among others. Jane was predeceased by her loving husband Walter, and is survived by daughters Nancy Rivera and Gail Tondettar; sons-in-law Jose Rivera and Per Bjune; grandsons Jeremy, Alden, Ian and Nyal; granddaughters-in-law Carrie and Brittany; and great-grandsons Sean, Nathan and Seamus.
