| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 17, 2000, page 5a Margaret Z. Decker Margaret Z. Decker, 84, died Monday, Aug 14, 2000, at a care home in Prescott Valley. She was born March 3, 1916, in Huntington, W. Va., to Harry Hite and Elizabeth (Weed) Hite. Mrs. Decker was a registered nurse and worked at the Yavapai Community Hospital for many years and also worked at a number of local care facilities. She retired in 1979. She was a member of the Prescott Free Methodist Church and also taught Sunday School. She enjoyed repairing dolls, making quilts and knitting. Surviving are sons, Wilhelm and Edgar, both of Prescott; brothers, Dale, Arden and Avery of Huntington, W. Va.; sisters, Norma Johnson and Jeanette Porter, both of Huntington, W. Va. and Bernice Roberts of Harrison, Tenn. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hampton Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Vaughn officiating. |
