| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, August 17, 2000, page 5a Winifred B. Risk Winifred B. (Wini) Risk, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at her home in Prescott. She was born July 30, 1921, in Providence, R.U., to Harrison and Ruth (Frazier) Brown. Mrs. Risk served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She enjoyed traveling, reading and making things for her family. She was always active in her children's school activities and helped raise two of her grandchildren. Mrs. Risk moved to Prescott from Rowland Heights, Calif. in 1990. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Donald, sons, Craig, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ted, of Waldorf, Md. and Kenneth, of Prescott; daughters, Betty Gould of North Potomic, Md., and Margaret Bryan, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren. Private cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory, Prescott Valley. The family suggests memorial contributions to Memorial's Hospice Family Care, 100 East Sheldon, Prescott, AZ., 86301. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements. |
